1. Go to MyPlate Plan and follow the prompts for your specific dietary recommendations.
2. Write down the amount of servings you should have for each food group daily.
3. Purchase all of the foods at the beginning of the week, and prepare or plan meals according to the recommended servings for each day of the week ahead of time.
4. Perform an aerobic activity for 30 minutes each day.
5. Do a form of strength training for 30 minutes to an hour, 2-3 times per week.
6. Do a wellness exercise for at least 10 minutes each day.
7. Set appointments for annual exams for each area of your overall health.
8. Meet with a licensed counselor periodically to discuss your overall mental and physical health, and issues you may be having.
